A highly contemporary 5 bedroom detached townhouse offering stylish accommodation situated in an elevated position
Located in a wonderfully elevated position on the outskirts of this hugely popular market town is Keston Gardens, a small select development of contemporary and individually designed family homes constructed in 2011. The Keston Gardens development is made up of an eclectic range of properties situated within approximately half a mile of bustling Wadebridge town centre with its wide ranging independent businesses, great schools, leisure facilities and extensive shopping amenities.
At almost 2000 square feet, 10 Keston Gardens stylish accommodation is spread over three storeys offering spacious and cleverly planned living finished to an exacting standard decorated in soft neutral tones. The property has some great features of note such as the oak floors, doors and staircases, underfloor heating to the ground and first floor with zoned thermostatic controls, granite work surfaces and some slate flooring too. Even better are the in-built tech features which include a whole house vacuum system, air filtration system and roof mounted solar panels for the hot water. We’re also very fond of the decorative LED lights located within the staircases and kitchen plinths. Additionally there are UPVC double glazed windows with oak sills and hard wired smoke alarms throughout the house.
Approached over a part tarmac/part block paved driveway with ample space for three vehicles, the integral double garage is easily accessible from here with a remote controlled electric roller door and space for a tumble dryer with wall vent. There is an external storage cupboard which is home to the vacuum system and steps and a path leads around the side of the house to the rear gate. Step through the front door and into the impressive entrance hall where the tone is set for the rest of the property. An oak floor flows through and stairs rise to the first floor. A fire regulation door opens into the integral garage while further oak doors lead to the ground floor bedroom, utility room and shower room. This floor is perfect as guest accommodation or for a dependant relative as it can be used independently from the rest of the house. The bedroom is an excellent size double with a window to the side aspect while the utility room is fitted with a range of modern floor and wall cabinets and a stainless steel sink. Space and plumbing is provided for a washing machine. The ground floor shower room is stylish and modern with a glass shower enclosure, funky black and white tiles and a rain water thermostatic shower above. The crisp white sanitary ware is complimented by a slate floor, half tiled walls and a chrome ladder style heated towel rail. Head up to the first floor landing where stairs continue to the second floor and a study room/fifth bedroom awaits. Big enough to take a single bed, it makes for a great office with views to the front aspect. From the landing, double doors open into the open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room and you are met with an abundance of space and light. This fantastic space is L shaped with fabulous bi-fold doors opening onto the south west facing patio and garden at the rear and further windows to the front and rear aspects. The lounge area has a contemporary flame effect fire and oak floors run through to the dining area. The kitchen area, however, has a slate floor and is fitted with sleek modern floor and wall cabinets and drawers with polished granite work surfaces and upstands. Integral appliances include a tall fridge freezer and dishwasher and a freestanding range cooker offers a double oven, grill, plate warmer and gas hob with a glass and stainless steel extractor above. Under counter lights and LED plinth lights complete the contemporary look. Time for the top floor!
The only place to start is in the impressive master bedroom with en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe/dressing room. A large room with ample space for a double bed and sofa or chaise lounge, windows and Velux face to the front aspect providing an abundance of light offering some glorious far reaching views across Wadebridge and beyond. The walk-in wardrobe is very handy with a large amount of hanging space and shelving while the en-suite is spacious and stylish. With a slate floor and contrasting wall tiles, the en-suite has crisp white sanitary ware and a glass shower enclosure with a thermostatic shower and chrome controls. The sink sits on slate top with cabinet beneath and a Velux window provides some natural light. Also on the second floor is a family bathroom, again with crisp white sanitary ware and slate floor. A chunky white bath sits with a glass shower screen above, thermostatic shower over and shiny chrome controls. There is a wall mounted ladder style heated towel rail to one wall while a skylight allows for some natural light to illuminate the room. The remaining two bedrooms are both good size doubles with rear aspect windows overlooking the garden and fields beyond.
The rear garden is fully enclosed with a fence boundary and well stocked borders. The patio is located to the rear of the house and perfect for al fresco dining, being private and south west facing. A gate leads to a path at the side of the property and a central lawn area is enclosed by a low picket fence with a gate for access. Additionally, Keston Gardens benefits from a small communal recreation area for children that is for the sole use of the residence of the development. Services to the property include mains water, electricity, gas, and drainage.
In summary, 10 Keston Gardens is a superb modern and stylish family home and we at Jackie Stanley recommend a viewing at your earliest convenience.
Wadebridge is a thriving market town on the river Camel, which offers a fine selection of shops and amenities including a sports centre, cinema, a primary and secondary school and a selection of supermarkets. Wadebridge also enjoys the Camel Trail, a popular and almost level cycle route which runs between Padstow and Bodmin, formerly the railway track. The town is equal distance from the harbour town of Padstow with all its restaurants and quaint shops and the watersports haven of Rock. The nearest mainline station is Bodmin Parkway which is approximately 15 miles distant as is the nearest airport at Newquay.
To find 10 Keston Gardens, leave Wadebridge town centre and proceed along Eddystone Road.
